Al 1060 forgings consists of aluminum for about 99.6%. Trace percentages consist of iron (<0.35%), copper (<0.05%), manganese (<0.03%), silicon (<0.25%), zinc (<0.10%), and titanium <0.03%. Its good properties consist of corrosion resistance, high workability, electrical and thermal conductivity, with mechanical properties in terms of tensile strength that lies in between 55 to 90 MPa, yield strength from 40 to 75 MPa, and elongation at between 18-25%.
