This high-performance alloy by Nilo Alloy 52 bar and rod , has been developed with its low coefficient of thermal expansion which is ideal in applications requiring maximum stability in dimensions. The composition for it is 52% Nickel, 48% Iron, containing traces of 1.0% Manganese, 0.5% Chromium, and 0.3% Silicon. The good mechanical properties can be seen; the tensile strength is near to around 500 to 650 MPa, with a yield strength around 250 MPa and around 30 to 40% elongation. The resistance of Nilo Alloy 52 to thermal expansion is good. It is extensively used in precision devices, electronic components, and aerospace applications, where thermal stability is critical.
