Super Duplex Steel Hollow Bars are made from a carefully balanced blend of austenitic and ferritic phases, enhanced with chromium, molybdenum, nitrogen, and nickel. This unique composition provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride-rich environments. On the mechanical side, these hollow bars boast incredibly high tensile and yield strength—almost double that of standard stainless steels—along with remarkable toughness and fatigue resistance. Their exceptional structural stability and durability in extreme temperatures and corrosive conditions make Super Duplex Steel Hollow Bars perfect for high-pressure and high-performance industrial applications. Super Duplex Steel Bright Bars are high-performance alloy materials that encapsulate the properties of the most commonly known austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. Containing 22-25% chromium (Cr), 4-7% nickel (Ni), 3-5% molybdenum (Mo), and approximately 0.2% nitrogen (N), the product provides excellent corrosion resistance in chloride-rich environments. The alloy provides strength generally at between 550-800 MPa with good toughness against stress corrosion cracking. The microstructure essentially comprises about 50% austenite and about 50% ferrite, which produces superior mechanical properties, including tensile strength, resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and high-temperature stability, that make it an excellent candidate for demanding applications.
